Sneak Peek of the Forever Greenery Product Suite

As a demonstrator, my favorite perk is getting to see, and order from, new catalogs before they are released. When I first laid eyes on the 2020 Annual Catalog, I knew I had to have the Forever Greenery Product Suite. And since it was available during Pre-Order, I now have this product suite and was able to play with it for the first time today!

Product suites are different than bundles. Bundles are a stamp set and either a coordinating punch or dies. You can save 10% when you purchase a bundle. A Product Suite is a whole collection of coordinating goodies! In this case, there is the Forever Fern Bundle (stamp set and dies), Forever Greenery DSP, Forever Gold Laser-cut Specialty DSP, a set of 2 embossing folders, Forever Greenery Trim Combo pack (ribbon and a gold trim) and lovely Gold Hoops Embellishments. Phew! That’s a lot! Thankfully, ordering a Product Suite is easy because there’s just 1 order number to get the whole suite! The Forever Greenery Product Suite is order # 154143. You’re welcome.

I’ll give you 3 guesses to figure out the color family of this Product Suite. Oh, you’re so smart! You got it on the first guess! Green, lots of green. 6 shades of green to be exact. Ranging from Soft Sea Foam to Pretty Peacock. And Gold accents. No wonder I was drawn right to this Product Suite.

So I guess by now, you’d probably like to see the Forever Greenery Product Suite, right? Well I can’t show you the actual products, but I can show you my projects. So here they are:

Forever Greenery Love & Laughter by Nancy Gleason of My Stampin Space

This first card shows off a bit of that breath-taking DSP, and a little strip of one of the embossing folders. You also get to see both ribbons in the Forever Greenery Trim Combo pack and a Gold Foil accent from the Gold Laser-Cut Specialty DSP.

Forever Greenery and Gold Laser-Cut Specialty DSP by Nancy Gleason of My Stampin Space

This card also shows off that Forever Greenery DSP and the Forever Gold Laser Cut Specialty DSP and the ribbon.

Forever Greenery DSP good things by Nancy Gleason of My Stampin Space

I heat embossed the sentiment with Gold embossing powder for this card and used the Ribbon Combo pack. I ‘borrowed’ a thinlit die from the Tasteful Labels dies for this card (and the card above this). I embossed the Pretty Peacock cardstock with the new embossing folder. Of course I had to stamp a little something on the inside as well.

The Colors

Don’t you just love this color palette? Here’s a look at all the greens that make up the Forever Greenery Product Suite.

Which card is your favorite? Leave me a comment and tell me. Is the Forever Greenery Product Suite on your wish list?

On June 3rd, when the catalog goes live, I’ll have the PDF of the catalog posted here on my blog for you to see. And of course, I’ll have a link for ordering.

Annual Catalog Kickoff Promotion

If your wish list is big, there’s a promotion going on from June 3-30 that you should know about. When you shop, or host a party, that totals $250 or more (before tax and shipping) you’ll earn an additional $25 in Stampin’ Rewards. Contact me if you’d like to host an online party to earn those freebies!

Want even more?

The $99 Starter Kit is always a great deal. After all, you choose $125 worth of products for only $99 AND get Free Shipping! Pretty sweet, right? But from June 3-30 you get all that AND you can choose any bundle from the catalog and add that in for FREE! That’s right! And of course you’ll enjoy all the perks of belonging to the Stampin’ Up! community: the product discount, early catalog preview and pre-order, exclusive online communities, events, and more! You can get the $99 Starter Kit right here and instantly become part of My Stampin Circle.

You’ve probably heard me say how much I love the color coordination and the product coordination from Stampin’ Up! The Product suites takes all this coordination and puts it together in one spot so no matter what your skill level may be, you can make perfectly coordinated projects, whether cards, tags, scrap book pages, gift packaging, etc.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I hope you enjoyed the Sneak Peek of the Forever Greenery Product suite. Please leave a comment for me and come back on Wednesday, June 3rd to browse the new catalog and place your order.

Share Sunshine

Who do you know who could use a little sunshine? Your sister who is a nurse on the front lines every day? An elderly neighbor who is isolated at home and missing his or her family? Your best friend that you haven’t seen in weeks? Well, I have not 1, but 2 ways for you to Share Sunshine.

This digital stamp set is packed with both lighthearted and thoughtful sentiments and imagery relevant to the unique COVID-19 and social distancing situation we are currently in. You can use the download in your cardmaking and papercrafting projects. Simply print the imagery on cardstock and cut it out using Stampin’ Up!’s Paper Trimmer, punches, or dies. Since we are physically distanced from each other, now is a perfect time to share sunshine with our friends and family by sending cards! Help us make a difference today! Then use the hash tag #ShareSunshine

Here are some samples that I’ve made with this Digital Download Set.

The 2nd way to Share Sunshine is with Paper Pumpkin

Paper Pumpkin is a monthly subscription box. It is a complete craft kit and each month you’ll make a different type of project. The June Paper Pumpkin kit contains supplies to make 8 full sized cards AND to convert the box into a box of Sunshine with the label included. Fill it with yellow goodies and brighten someone’s day. Easy-Peasy! This kit is sure to sell out so subscribe now. Just click the button below.

The good news is that you don’t have to choose – you can choose to Share Sunshine by grabbing the Digital Download stamp AND by subscribing to Paper Pumpkin! Win-Win!

Hello Fabulous!

So once a month I host a Club; nick-named the “Craft Cult” by one of the ladies’ husband! The name stuck and we’ve been calling ourselves the Craft Cult ever since! Well both last month and this month, we’ve had to meet via Zoom. It’s been fun trying to come up with projects that we can all make together, separately from our own homes, using whatever cardstock, stamp sets, inks, & embellishments we each have.

This past weekend, I made two projects for our Craft Cult; each with a new technique, and I’d like to share one of those with you here.

Nesting Spotlight Technique

I don’t know if this has a name or not but I’m calling it the Nesting Spotlight. Basically you use any shape of nesting dies; I used the Layering Circle dies here. Simply nest and cut two different sizes at the same time. You’ll be left with a ‘donut’ and a full circle. The donut is garbage but you keep the smaller circle. You may want to use tiny strips of Washi Tape to hold your nesting dies in place as it running through the die cutting machine.

How to make this card:

I used Lovely Lipstick ( a Retiring 2018-2020 In Color – you can see my tribute post to all the Retiring 2018-2020 In Colors here) cardstock as my card base. My card base is an 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ piece of cardstock scored & folded in half. I used a piece of Best Dressed DSP cut to 5-1/4″ x 4″ on top of the card base. Then I used a piece of Whisper White 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″. This is layer that I cut my nesting circles out of. I decorated this with stamped images from the Dressed To Impress stamp set and I stamped the Hello Fabulous greeting onto the small circle left behind. Then I propped this up on the card base with stamping dimensionals, added the circle, also on dimensionals. The negative space around the smaller circle just causes your eye to laser in on the sentiment. Very easy and adaptable to any stamp set and DSP that you have on hand.

I chose the lipstick patterned sheet of DSP to compliment the tube of lipstick that I decorated the front of the card with. Let’s take a closer look at the lipstick:

Stampin’ Blends

I colored this lipstick tube with the Stampin’ Blends markers. If you would like to learn to use the Stampin’ Blends to color like this, I just announced that I am starting an Online Class Series called “How to Use Your Stampin’ Blends”. If you are interested in this class, you can get all the details and register for that class here.

Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think of this technique. Is this a technique that you’d like to try? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

And now Hello Fabulous needs to jump into an envelope and head on over to a lovely lady who needs some cheering up while she’s isolating at home alone.

Out with the Old….

With a new Annual Catalog on the horizon, there’s the anticipation of so many new products, and new In Colors! Exciting right? But it’s also time to make room for those newbies, so it’s Out with the Old, in with the new! Change is always exciting, but sometimes hard.

I’ve seen the new Catalog already (one of my favorite perks of being a Demonstrator!). There are SO MANY great new products, and suites, and Stampin’ UP! is on the cutting edge of current trends. This catalog is no exception.

But I am sad to see “It Starts With Art” leaving us. As a tribute, below please find some cards from the archives that I made with the Follow Your Art Product Suite. I hope that this may inspire you and that you grab this stamp set, dies, and the accompanying DSP and accessories while you can.

It Starts with Art stamp set

It Starts With Art – A Tribute:

I love this card because it’s so colorful and playful! It uses the button stamp to create a stamped background, the fun DSP, and and another stamped and colored image.

Another card using the stamped image to create a background, and a stamped and colored image. I just love this card – very simple, great for a guy!

Here’s my feminine take on the card – this time using the lovely Follow Your Art DSP for the back ground.

The colors and images of the Follow Your Art DSP are so bright and playful. Palette Knives and paint bottles pair so well with the You Paint My World with Happiness sentiment.

Yes, I am going to miss this stamp set, and the sister stamp set “Crafting Forever”.

If you like these product suites, you will want to shop the Last Chance Products because when they’re gone, they’re gone.

If you’d like to get your hand on the new 2020-21 Annual Catalog NOW, rather than waiting until June 3rd, consider joining My Stampin Circle – my group of demonstrators. Some are in it to build a business and provide another source of income for themselves and their families, some just to get a discount to support their own hobby. Either way, you will enjoy the same perks and benefits. You can purchase the $99 Starter Kit here, fill it with $125 worth of products, and it ships to you for free. Ask me for more details if you have question.

Time to go Out with the Old, so we can come in with the new!

Farewell 2018-2020 InColors

Each year around this time I begin to say farewell to the soon to be retired set of 5 colors from the Stampin’ Up! color family. Today I want to say Farewell 2018-2020 InColors. This color family will be going away in order to make room for an incoming set of 5 colors – the 2020-2022 InColors.

I Miss Your Face InColors

This is a rainbow of colors that form the 2018-2020 InColor Collection. I used this color palette in my free class that you can view here.

Let’s take a look at each color:

I made this set of mini cards when this color collection was introduced back in 2018. You can see that original post here.

SHOP NOW

Each of these colors are available in Card Stock, Ink Pads, Ink Refills, Markers, as well as Designer Series Paper, Stampin’ Blends, and embellishments such as ribbon. When these colors retire, all of the above will be gone! Now is the time to grab these colors and stock up.

Shop the Entire 2018-2020 In Color Collection here.

2018-2020 InColor Ink Collection

SHOP QUICKLY: When these colors sell out, they will be gone for good. From now until June 1st, these are available only while supplies last. Inventory will NOT be replenished during this time so please stock up now while you still can.

I want you to say Farewell 2018-2020 InColors, but I don’t want you to lose out.

I CASE’d Myself!

In the Stampin’ UP! world, CASE means to Copy And Share Everything and it’s really just another way of saying we can find inspiration all around us. Sometimes, we just see a project that someone else made and we just love something about it so much it calls us to grab our supplies and make a project too. Maybe it’s the layout, or the colors, or the stamp set, or the way the sentiment is placed, or anything at all.

Well, today I CASE’d myself! Yes, my most popular PIN on Pinterest is a card I made at the beginning of the year for my downline meeting. I needed to make a number of Thank You cards and I wanted to use the Peaceful Moments stamp set which has a nice Thank You. When I grabbed that set, I thought back to that card I made and decided to remake that card, but in a different color.

You can see my original post with that card here, and instructions on how to make it.

It has also become my most popular Pin on Pinterest!

Painted Poppies B&W Birthday

And here is the card I made today:

a simple Thank You Card made with the Peaceful Moments and Painted Poppies stamp set and the Painted Labels and Poppy Moments dies.

Do you see what I did? Same card, different color. I basically kept the card layout the same, except I used Bermuda Bay ink instead of Poppy Parade, and swapped out the sentiment. A couple of Black Rhinestones were added for some bling.

And just like that, I CASE’d myself! Have you ever made a card you liked so much that you CASE’d yourself? I’ve made several cards that I’ve like so much, I made them in several colors. Actually, my last class was a Facebook Live and I made a card in all 5 of the retiring 2018-2020 In Colors. You can watch that class recording on my Facebook page by clicking here.

Let’s Compare Side by Side

So which do you like better? Please leave me a comment with your choice of favorite color. I love to hear from you.

If you want to CASE this card from me, I’d be honored! And to help you, you can shop my online store here to grab any or all of the Peaceful Poppies Suite of products. These bundles are just back in stock!

Don’t forget to sign up for my mailing list– you’ll receive a free PDF Tutorial when you do, and you’ll continue to get free project tutorials and lots of useful information to help you in your papercrafting journey as well. Follow me on Social Media too. I’ll be hosting online classes on my Facebook page.

Ornate Garden and a Sneak Peek of the 2020-2021 In Colors

I’d like to introduce you to the Ornate Garden Product Suite that will be featured in the new 2020-2021 Catalog which will be released on June 3rd. Ok, that was really a tease, wasn’t it? But I can explain! All I know is the May 2020 Paper Pumpkin is going to feature 4 NEW In Colors plus Purple Posy from the 2019–2021 In Color collection. (The new In Colors will be introduced on April 24.) So, for now, we can’t see them, but I do know the kit will make 12 cards; 8 full size cards & 4 note cards. And on April 24th, this graphic should magically appear in color, In Color that is! You can subscribe to Paper Pumpkin here, right now to get the May Paper Pumpkin craft kit and be the first to get your hands on the New InColors before the catalog release. And on April 24th, check back and I’ll show you the new In Colors that will be in the May Paper Pumpkin.

So if you want to get your hands on some new catalog excitement now, you’ve got 2 different options. But why choose? I recommend getting both! And if you know someone who is at home, sheltering in place, and could use some excitement, consider a Paper Pumpkin Prepaid kit that you can gift to someone.

I Miss Your Face

I’ve always said that Stampin’ UP! is on the cutting edge and always on trend. I wonder if many months ago, when the designers at Stampin’ UP! were designing stamp sets for the 2020 Sale-A-Bration promotion, if anyone was thinking about Social Distancing and Shelter in Place. Yet, this sentiment, I Miss Your Face, is perfect for the times we are in right now!

Because of Social Distancing and the orders in my state to shelter in place, I couldn’t have my regular monthly Wine Down Wednesday class. But I didn’t have to cancel my class! Thanks to Facebook Live, I was able to still have my class, and to invite all of you! You can watch that Wine Down Wednesday – Social Distance Style! Class right on my Facebook page. (You may need to scroll down to find the Wine Down Wednesday – Social Distancing Style Live video from March 25th)

Here’s my project:

I Miss Your Face from the Tags in Bloom stamp set, free with a qualifying purchase during Sale-A-Bration

The project I designed used the stamp set, Tags in Bloom, free with a qualifying purchase during Sale-A-Bration, and the sentiment “I Miss Your Face” from this stamp set. But, because I wanted everyone who was watching from home, to be able to stamp along with me, I also designed the card so that it can be made with the supplies you already have at home.

I love that Stampin’ Up’s color coordination, and product coordination make it so easy to create projects that come together so easily! This project uses Pineapple Punch cardstock, ink and ribbon and just some Whisper White and Basic Black cardstock and Black Memento Ink. As a matter of fact, you can make this with any color of cardstock with coordinating ink and ribbon. I made several cards using all of the colors from the 2018-2020 In Color Collection.

2018-2020 In Colors make a rainbow of cards using the Tags in Bloom stamp set and I Miss Your Face sentiment

Doesn’t that look so pretty? A rainbow of colors using the 2018-2020 In Color collection. From left to right, I used Blueberry Bushel, Call Me Clover, Pineapple Punch, Grapefruit Grove and Lovely Lipstick. All of these colors are set to retire when the annual catalog ends May 31st. If you want any of these colors cardstock, ink or accessories, I suggest you get them now! Historically, the retiring In Colors sell out. So stock up while you still can. And if you order them before March 31st, your purchases will help you qualify for Free Sale-A-Bration rewards! (Like the Tags in Bloom stamp set!). Click here to shop my online store now.

In my Facebook Live Class, I’ll show you how to make the patterned background using any small flower or geometric stamp you already have. And by using any big, bold sentiment and a coordinating punch of any shape, you can recreate this card. It uses just one color of cardstock, ink and ribbon, plus Black and White.

I hope that you will watch my video class (and while you’re there, make sure to LIKE my Facebook page) and use that pattern to make a card of your own. I made almost 2 dozen cards to mail out this weekend, to all the folks I miss right now! If you make a card using this pattern, please let me know! I love when you get inspiration from my blog posts. Leave a comment, or share a photo on my Facebook page.

Here’s another look at my card before you leave:

And here’s another link to my Online Store so you can shop before saying goodbye. SHOP NOW! Remember you’ll earn a Free Sale-A-Bration reward for every qualifying order, $50 or $100 before tax and shipping when you shop by March 31st.

Stay safe, stay healthy, and stay 6′ away from others. And be thankful that we have a hobby to keep us busy at home as we shelter in place. And get those cards in the mail to the folks who could use some cheer!

I miss your face but hope to see you watching my class on my Facebook page!

Are you a DSP Hoarder?

The Designer Series Paper by Stampin UP! is so pretty, it’s easy to want to hoard it rather than cut it, but…it’s so much better to cut this beautiful paper, make a card and mail it than it is to keep it in a package on the shelf. So, that’s exactly what I did! #LoveItChopIt I’ve actually challenged myself to stop being a DSP Hoarder, so I’ve come up with a brilliant compromise: I buy 2 packages of DSP and I keep one on the shelf and cut and use the other one. Then I don’t feel bad about cutting it and using. I actually feel better because I love the cards I make more than the package sitting on a shelf. And I’m pretty sure the people who receive the cards I make like that too!

The Best Dressed Designer Series Paper has such beautiful designs – florals, stripes and yes shoes, purses, lipstick and parfum bottles! Each sheet is as pretty as the next. When I saw the challenge from the Paper Players “Spring Flowers” I knew I had to break out my Best Dressed DSP and play along! I also just received the new “Label Me Lovely” punch and “Label Me Fancy” punch that were just yearning to be played with! So put them all together and this is what I made:

Best Dressed DSP for the Paper Players PP482

So, what do you think? Better than leaving this beautiful DSP in the package on a shelf, right? I’m glad that the Paper Players Challenge got me cutting my paper and making a pretty birthday card. Be sure to head over to the Paper Players page to see the Design Team cards that inspired me.

So simple and easy: I just layered Petal Pink and Melon Mambo cardstock underneath my DSP. A 1″ strip of Petal Pink cardstock served as a background for the 5/8″ Organdy Striped Ribbon. A layer of punched shapes showcase a simple sentiment from Peaceful Moments stamp set.

Sale-A-Bration Perks

So if you are like me, I challenge YOU to use your beautiful Designer Series Paper; don’t just hoard it! But if you must hoard it, buy 2 packages. One to use and one to keep! Now is great time to stock up too because you can earn FREE Sale-A-Bration items with every $50 you purchase in product. Click here to shop my online store. SaleABration ends on March 31st.

$99 Ultimate Stater Kit with SaleABration special

Simple or Stepped Up? You Decide – Part 2

Yesterday I showed you a Simple Birthday Card using the Happy Birthday to You stamp set that you can earn for FREE during Sale-A-Bration. You can see that card here. Today, I want to share a stepped up version of this birthday card with you. Ready? Here is is:

Stepped Up Happy Birthday to You

I used the same Petal Pink layer stamped with the Happy Birthday to You layer cake, using Versamark ink and heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. But I also stamped the image onto Whisper White cardstock and heat embossed it with Gold Embossing Powder. I cut out the flowers only and colored the flowers using Petal Pink and Mint Macaron Stampin’ Blends markers. I popped these flowers up on Stampin’ Dimensionals to raise them up a bit. This time I added a few layers in the background; a Mint Macaron cardstock layer embossed with the Tufted 3D Embossing Folder, and a piece of Golden Honey Specialty Designer Series Paper (also FREE during Sale-A-Bration) with gold foil accents.

Time to Decide

So, now that you’ve seen both, which do you prefer? The simple birthday card or the stepped up birthday card? Leave a comment here and let me know. Let’s take another look:

I hope that you enjoy both cards actually! I can’t say that I like one card better than the other – I like them both. Just different. Both were fun to make. Sometimes I want simple (because I don’t have a lot of time or because I know the recipient prefers clean and simple) and sometimes I want to spend more time fussing on a card because that’s what I like to do and I want my recipient to feel like I went the extra mile in making their card.

If you want any supplies to make either of these cards yourself, just click here to shop my online store. Make sure you are ordering in $50 increments so you can earn free Sale-A-Bration items!

Thanks for stopping by My Stampin’ Space today. Come back soon.

Simple or Stepped Up? You Decide! – Part 1

Simple Happy Birthday to you

Sometimes Simple is best.

I love the classic look of pale pink and gold – it’s so rich looking. Todays Simple Birthday card was inspired by this gorgeous 1/4″ Petal Pink Metallic Edge Ribbon. This ribbon is so satiny and just flows so nicely. So I designed a simple card just to show off the petal pink and gold.

My card base is Whisper White with a Petal Pink layer. I stamped the layer cake from Happy Birthday to You (free during SaleABration with a $50 order) in Versamark ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. The outline image of this stamp set is so pretty it works well on its own (although the outline image also works well with all sorts of coloring techniques. I’ll be featuring the same image colored with the Stampin’ Blends tomorrow so stop back then.) A quick little sentiment from the Timeless Tulip stamp set was added and it was topped with the bow.

Quick and easy! Elegant and rich looking.

Tomorrow, I’ll be featuring the same image but stepped up for a totally different look. Please tell me what you think of this card, but then stop back tomorrow and let me know what you think of the stepped up card and then let me know if you prefer Simple or Stepped Up. Either way, you should make an effort to grab this Happy Birthday To You stamp set during Sale-A-Bration. It is FREE with a level 1 qualifying order.

Painted Poppies for all Occasions

The beautiful flowers in the Painted Poppies stamp set lend themselves to all kinds of artistic expression. Yesterday I shared a quick and easy card made with this stamp set; you can see that card here. And I’m calling today’s card Painted Poppies for all occasions and you’ll see why in just a bit

Today I want to share a card using Painted Poppies colored with the Stampin’ Blends markers for a totally different look. Take a look:

a card designed by Nancy Gleason of My StampinSpace using the Painted Poppies and Peaceful Moments stamp sets and the Peaceful Poppies DSP

See how they are totally different?

The coordinating dies from the Painted Labels dies (bundle and save 10% and earn a FREE SaleABration item!) make quick work out of cropping out the shapes. But when you combine them with the sentiments from the companion Peaceful Moments stamp set, you can create a card for any occasion.

Peaceful Moments stamp set #151595

Just like the card I featured yesterday, you can simply swap out the sentiment to make a card for any occasion. The Peaceful Moments stamp set is perfect for so many different occasions it just a ‘must have’ stamp set.

Card Details

On this card I also used the coordinating Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper against a Pool Party cardstock layer. The flowers are colored with Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends and the leaves with Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. The “With Deepest Sympathy” sentiment was stamped in Momento Tuxedo Black ink, then fussy cut with paper snips.

I love the Peaceful Poppies Suite; there are 2 companion bundles. The Painted Poppies Bundle and the Peaceful Moments bundle. Both bundles have stamp set and dies and they both coordinate so well together. Add the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series paper, and matching embellishments and you’ve got the makings for so many different cards, gifts and home decor items. You can order the whole Peaceful Poppies product suite as a bundle with just 1 order number AND you can earn FREE Sale-A-Bration items when you do!

It only took me 10 minutes

I held my monthly team meeting yesterday and about 1/2 hour before the meeting began, I decided I wanted to provide a quick make & take card for everyone to make using the Peaceful Poppies Suite from the 2020 Mini Catalog. I sat down and made this card and it only took me 10 minutes to make from start to finish!

This is truly the kind of card that you can whip up just 1 or 2, or mass produce a large quantity. Furthermore, you can easily swap out the sentiment for any occasion; birthday, get well, thank you, thinking of you, etc. Heck, you could even make the card and not add a sentiment panel until you need a card to send and then just stamp a sentiment.

You could always stamp the inside too, as I did here:

Card Recipe

Want to know how to make this card? Of course you do! So I will tell you. This card features products from the new Peaceful Poppies product suite (pages 24-27 of the 2020 Mini Catalog). I started with a piece Whisper White Cardstock cut to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, scored and folded in half for the card base.

I used scraps of Whisper White to stamp the large poppy, the smaller poppy and 4 leaves from the Painted Poppies stamp set using Tuxedo Black Momento ink. I stamped the watercolor image over the flowers using Poppy Parade ink to color in the flowers.

Then I cropped the flowers and leaves out using the coordinating Painted Labels dies. The swirly circle was cut from Basic Black cardstock. The Happy Birthday sentiment was stamped on a scrap of Whisper White Cardstock using the companion stamp set Peaceful Moments. A 1″ x 5″ strip of B&W DSP adds some visual interest and a few Rhinestone Jewels add some bling.

And did I mention that it only took me 10 minutes to make this card from start to finish! Pretty sweet, right? With all the layers and elements, it looks like this card would have taken a pretty long to create, but the coordinating stamps and dies make it so easy. When you combine the use of black & white with just 1 color it makes a pretty dramatic statement.

You can purchase all the supplies to make this card right here from my online store, or just click the product name above. And when you purchase the stamp set and dies as a bundle you save 10%. Both the Painted Poppies Bundle and the Peaceful Moments bundle are $52 which qualify for a FREE Sale-A-Bration item! Buy both bundles and get 2 FREE Sale-A-Bration items.

For the Get Well card above, I used the sentiment from the Sending You Thoughts stamp set which is a FREE Sale-A-Bration stamp set.

So which card do you like better? The Happy Birthday card on the left or the “If Loving Thoughts could heal…” card on the right? Please leave me a comment and let me know. (Shh, don’t tell anyone but the card on the right is slightly different. Can you tell that the smaller flower on top is popped up on stampin’ dimensionals? At my team meeting, one of my members asked where the dimensionals were because I always add them. She lifted up the little flowers and the leaves, and when I got home, I made 2 get well cards for the 2 gals who weren’t there because they were sick, and I popped them up on dimensionals too! Thanks Brienne!)
