Come to Gather Together

One of my favorite stamp sets from the new 2019 Stampin’ UP! Holiday Catalog is a stamp set called “Gather Together” and it’s part of the Come to Gather product suite. This product suite brings the beauty of Autumn together with sentiments that are just perfect for Thanksgiving, and beyond!

I combined these papers, stamps and dies with a non-traditional card style to create today’s card. Take a look:

Gather Together

I took my color cue from the Paper Players color challenge and realized that the colors in the Come to Gather DSP were the same colors as the color challenge! Perfect! My card base is Merry Merlot and the leaves and pumpkins are Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze, Pretty Peacock and a little bit of Copper Metallic foil! The inks used are Crumb Cake and Early Espresso.

Here is a close-up the die-cut elements:

Doesn’t that Copper Foil just add a delightful shimmer to the card? And the Pretty Peacock pumpkin is just beautiful, albeit and non-traditional color for a pumpkin!

This card is not what it seems! There is a non-traditional approach to the face of this card. I went on Facebook Live to show how to make this. You can watch the replay on at Facebook.com/MyStampinSpace. Please hop over there and leave me a comment. Be sure to Like my page while you’re there!
