A Special Reason to Play with the Pals Paper Arts

Well I needed to make a special card for the person we call ‘Our Fearless Leader’, my upline Mary Fish, of Stampin’ Pretty.  She refers to all of her downline as her Stampin’ Pretty Pals.   It’s her birthday, and I thought what better way to make her a card than to use the sketch challenge from her Pals Paper Arts  challenges.  Here is the sketch that inspired my card:

11-25-PPA-277And here is my card:IMG_5978

Notice anything new?  That’s right.  A new stamp set, new DSP, new baker’s twine.   Some sneak peeks from the new 2016 Occasions catalog that will make it’s debut in January 2016.  Because I attended the Stampin’ UP! OnStage event in Baltimore a few weeks ago, I was able to pre-purchase some items from the new catalog; even before the pre0rder period begins for demonstrators!  Sweet!

Here’s a close-up: IMG_5979This was the first chance I had to use those new goodies (I received them the day before Thanksgiving) but I can assure you, they’ll be getting a workout!  I just love this product suite; you should see all the patterns of the paper in the DSP set!  And the coordinating embossing folder!  OMG!

Well, I hope that Mary enjoys her card, and her birthday.  And I hope that you enjoy this sneak peek!  Seeing the new catalogs before they are revealed, and ordering new products before it is offered to the public, are just some of the perks that I enjoy as a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator.  And YOU can enjoy these perks too! It’s easy to join Stampin’ UP!  – just buy the starter kit for $99 and fill it with your choice of $125 worth of products.  Then sit back and enjoy all the perks!  Like product discounts on all your purchases, pre-orders, and so much more!  We welcome wholesale customers so you can join just to feed your own papercrafting passion without any pressure to sell.  Or set some goals for yourself to earn an income sharing what you love.  Either way, you’ll enjoy the same perks.  And when  you join with me, you’ll instantly become part of the Stampin’ Pretty Pals too so it’s a win-win!  Click here to Join Now!

Don’t forget that we have the Online Extravaganza going on now, and there will be a special 24 hour Flash Sale on Monday, Nov. 30th. TH_Ecard_OnlineX_demo_11.23.15_ENGHead over the Pals Paper Arts and see what the other Pals did with this sketch challenge.

Did This Make Your List?

When the new Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalog made its’ debut, I ooh-ed & ahh-ed at almost every thing in it!  But only a few items made it to the top of my “Must. Have. NOW!” list.   The Festive Flower Builder Punch and Coordinating Reason for the Season stamp bundle were at the top of this list.

The flower punch makes this incredible 3-D flower, and the stamp set puts just the right accent onto each petal.

Tonight I brought my computer into My Stampin’ Space and was creating and surfing; when I saw the Pals Paper Arts sketch challenge #268, and I had this flower already assembled just waiting to be turned into something awesome.  It was a match made in heaven!  Add the Merry Moments DSP that was practically sitting in my lap and a star was born!

IMG_5584This beautiful patterned paper was just right to show off the 3-D flower, and since I didn’t want anything to take away from anything, I chose a soft neutral, Sahara Sand, for the card base.  I didn’t even put a sentiment on the front, I want the flower to be the star of the show!  I did use a little bit of the Gold Metallic thread which helps the flower pop out without taking your eye away.

I used the sentiments from Versatile Christmas on the inside.  While these sentiments are great ‘inside, outside’ stamps, I used both parts on the inside:

IMG_5585I love that you can see how full the flower is from this angle.

Here’s another angle that shows the flower,

IMG_5586

So, now that you’ve seen this, is the Reason for the Season Stamp set and Festive Flower Builder Punch on your list too? Remember, you can Bundle & Save 15%!   If it is, you can order it here.  If you do, please use host code ZA4DG2A9 when you place your order.  (If your order is $150 or more, please do not use the host code).  You can also click on any item in my supply list below to order that item.

If you want it all, but your wallet says, “HELP!”, you might want to consider joining Stampin’ Up! as a wholesale customer.  You’ll get a discount on every order.  You can join here; select $125 worth of products for only $99 plus tax.  I’d be happy to answer any questions you have about becoming a wholesale customer.  Email me and we can set up a time to talk!   Joining Stampin’ UP! was one of the best things I’ve ever done!

The Holiday Catalog is Here!

It’s finally here; the 2015 Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalog  is here!  Click on the catalog cover below to view the catalog.

20150901TH_HolidayMini_en-USStamp sets, papers, & framelits, oh my!   Where to start?

My advice:  bundles are always a great place to start, and to save.  Make a wish list, go thru the catalog again, add to wish list.  Go thru catalog a third time, prioritize wish list (I make an A, B, C wish list).

One of my favorite bundles is the Embellished Ornaments Stamp Set and Delicate Ornaments Framelits die Bundle – Wood Mount # 140856 $48.25, or Clear Mount # 140857 $ 41.50 which I used to make this card:

IMG_5439

You can begin ordering today right here.   You can view the catalog here, or on the sidebar.  Do you want a paper catalog to have in your hands?  If you are my customer, or would like to be, I’ll be happy to send you a catalog.  If you already have a relationship with a demonstrator, I respectfully ask that you request a catalog from him/her.

Is you wish list now bigger than your budget?  Do you want it all?  Consider using the starter kit to fill your wish list.  Choose $125 worth of merchandise for only $99 (and it ships free!) which is like a 30% discount.  And that’s just to start!  You’ll receive a 30% discount off your first order (within 45 days) and 20% off all products after that from now until Dec. 31st with no obligation to sell anything, host a party or anything else.  Just fill your personal wish list at a discount, get all the perks (like attending OnStage Live in November, a bi-monthly magazine filled with ideas & tips, our private Facebook chat groups, and more!)  Click here to get started.

Enjoy the new catalog!

Christmas, Here I come!

Christmas is just a few short months away, so now is the best time to start getting ready.   I did just that.  The new Stampin’ Up! 2015 Holiday catalog is here (sales period begins Sept. 1st) but as a demo, I have been able to order from that catalog already.   This catalog is filled with so many new and exciting things that will make a stamper’s heart go pitter-patter!   And, yes, I do offer Gift Certificates 🙂   SPOILER ALERT:  The catalog is also filled with some pretty nostalgic items too that will take you back to Christmases of long ago.
Our Annual Catalog has some pretty nice Christmas stamps & papers too.  Today’s project features the “Lots of Joy” stamp set, “Merry Moments DSP” from the annual catalog and the coordinating Tree Punch.

Lots of JoyWhisper White card stock formed the foundation for my card.  A piece of plaid DSP cut 1/4″ smaller created the background.   I used my Oval framelits and cut 2 ovals; the larger from Mossy Meadow card stock, the smaller in Old Olive  card stock.    I punch a Mossy Meadow tree (TIP:  To save paper, I punched this out of the center of the oval I just  made – the lighter oval will cover it and no one will know!)

Then I stamped the plaid tree in Old Olive ink on Whisper White and punched that out and adhered on top of, but offset from the solid tree.

Cherry Cobbler ink was used for the sentiment and the 1-3/4″ and 2″ circle punches cropped the circles which I layered together and offset at the bottom of the oval.  A few stars in Gold Glimmer Paper were cropped using the star die from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits set added some sparkle.  The plaid tree was finished off with a bow tied from the new Gold Cording Trim which will be available Sept. 1st.

Don’t you just love the plaid tree in this stamp set?  I do.   It reminds me of a Charlie Brown Christmas and I am looking forward to stamping this tree in some funky colors like Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo and the like!

I took my color palette from the colors in the Merry Moments DSP.  Here is another card I made using the same layout but I switched out the DSP in the background.  IMG_5467 A whole different feel just by changing the paper.

And the best part of this card;  after I made it I realized it fit the requirements for the Merry Monday Christmas card challenge:Merry Monday Christmas 169It’s been a while since I played along and I’m really glad to take part this week.  Hop over to the challenge to find inspiration from other crafters as you look forward to getting started with your own Christmas cards.

Listed below are the supplies I used for my card.  You can order any of these items by shopping my online store, or by clicking the item below.

If you need a 2015 Holiday Catalog, and you are my customer, or don’t currently have a demo and wish to choose me as your demonstrator, request your Holiday catalog here.  If you already have a relationship with another demonstrator, please be respectful and contact him or her for a catalog.

Thanks for stopping by My Stampin’ Space.  Please know that I love when you stop by and leave me a comment.  I also appreciate when you order from me very much!  I have set some sales goals for myself and and just a few dollars away from my goal for the month.  I would certainly appreciate if you could help me reach that goal by shopping with me today.  (You know you want more stamps anyway!)  And you’ll be helping me in the process!  Thanks!

Money Holder Tutorial

Yesterday was an exciting day, the Pals Blog Hop!  We featured projects showcasing the new 2015-17 In Colors.  I hope you were able to hop from blog to blog and see all the various projects using these colors.   You can see my post here.

I featured a project modeled after a gift card holder that is my go-to design when I need a quick & easy gift card holder and decorate it for any occasion.  But what about when you want to give cash?  I adapted the gift card holder to fit a dollar bill.  Here it is:

In Color Money Holder

A belly band holds the flap closed.  Just slip it off and here it is open:

money holder open

Well, I promised I would share a step-by-step tutorial and here it is: (Keep in mind that this pattern can be adapted for any occasion you want to give a gift of cash – any color, any patterned paper, any embellishment YOU want to customize it to the occasion and the recipient.  Just keep the same measurements.)

I started with a piece of Tip Top Taupe cardstock cut to 6-3/4″ wide x 8-1/4″ tall.

money holder cut cardstock

I scored the paper 2-1/4″ from the bottom edge, and at 5-1/4″.   (I love that I can cut and score on my Stampin’ Trimmer!)money holder score

Here is the paper scored in 2 places: money holder scored

To create the thumb notch for the dollar bill, I used a 2″ circle punch to partially  punch creating the notch.  I centered this left to right at 3-3/8″.  money holder punch notch

I then applied strips of Tear & Tape adhesive along the outer edges of the lower portion.  (Have I mentioned that I LOVE this new Tear & Tape adhesive? – This project was the first time I used this adhesive, and it is far superior to the old ‘red’ tape; both in terms of stickiness AND ease of use!  No more red pieces of plastic stuck to your hands, clothes, etc.)  money holder tear & tape

Fold up the bottom portion, and you’ve just created the perfect pocket to fit a dollar bill.  Any denomination will fit!  (Make mine 50’s or 100’s, please!) money holder assembled

Now for the belly band.  You can create a belly band that wraps around the money holder vertically or horizontally.   I used a 1-1/4″ wide x 7-1/2″ strip of cardstock and another piece of Tear & Tape adhesive and just wrapped it around the money holder.  (TIP:  Don’t wrap it too tight; leave enough room for the belly band to slip on & off with ease!). money holder vertical band

To wrap horizontally, you will need to adhere 2 strips together to get a strip long enough to wrap around the width of the card.  I strategically placed the butt joints in the least conspicuous places; behind the flower and at the back edge of the money holder.  (I am using a contrasting piece of cardstock so you can see the two pieces better).

money holder horiz band

money holder with belly band

Now for the fun part!  You can decorate your money holder any way you wish!

On my project,  I used the Corner Rounder Punch to punch the two bottom corners of the face.  I cut the new Envelope Paper in the woodgrain pattern in Tip Top Taupe to 6-1/2″ x 2-3/4″ and corner rounded the bottom two corners.  I adhered this layer on the face of the closed money holder.

In Color Money HolderI chose to create this gorgeous flower using the new Cotton Paper in Watermelon Wonder.  The flower center is created from Delightful Dijon and fringe scissors!  The leaves are Cucumber Crush card stock using the Fun Flower punch.  A little flagged end banner in Mint Macaron  says: “Thought you’d like to spend your day spending….” from the B.Y.O.P. stamp set.  The inside sentiment simply says:  “SPENDING”

I will be making a video showing just how to make this flower, and some tips on how to work with this new Cotton Paper.  Watch for that next week.

If you want to grab some of these supplies to add to your stash so you can create this at home, simply click here to go to my online store.  Or just click on any of the items in the supply list below.

I hope that you try to make this;  please let me know if you do.  This is a project tutorial that you’ll want to keep close by;  it will come in handy whenever you are giving cash as a gift.

Be sure to LIKE my Facebook page so you’ll be the first to know when I share my video.  You can also subscribe to my YouTube channel so you won’t miss out any of my tutorial videos.

Please give me feedback on my tutorial.  I need your help to know if I am giving enough details, or not, for you to be successful in recreating this project for yourself.  Thanks for your constructive input!  Thanks for stoppin’ by My Stampin’ Space.  Come back and stamp with me soon.

New Hues Review – July Pals Blog Hop

july blog hop badge

Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for July.  This month we are excited to show off the new 2015 – 2017 Stampin’ Up! In Colors, namely, Cucumber Crush, Delightful Dijon, Mint Macaron, Tip Top Taupe and Watermelon Wonder. The In Color products include card stock, designer series paper, ribbon and other embellishments.  We hope you find great inspiration from the projects.

You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from Susan Itell at Simple Stampin, number 9 on the Pals Hop.  If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.

I have to confess that every year when the new In Colors are introduced, I get a little anxious wondering what they be like.  There is a courting period, if you will, when I take the time to get the know the new colors.  What colors pair well with other colors, do the colors stand alone, or do they need to be used in combination with other colors?  Where do they stand in our color palette in relation to the other existing colors?  I really feel like I need to spend some time with each of these colors to truly appreciate each one.  Does that sound weird?  Or do you do the same thing?

Well, for this blog hop, I was determined to make a project that used ALL 5 of the new In Colors.

In Color Money HolderSo what do you think?  Did I pull off a project that uses all of these colors well together?   I really think this color combo is a winner!  These colors are GREAT, aren’t they?

I wanted to make a project that was a little special too.  I think the money holder fits the bill (and the bills fit inside the money holder too!)  Too many times presents consist of gift cards, but sometimes cold, hard cash is king!  So  I adapted a gift card holder that I love to make, to hold cash.

money holder openI used Tip Top Taupe cardstock for the money holder base, and the brand new Envelope Paper also in Tip Top Taupe for the snazzy woodgrain patterned paper on the face.  The star of the show really is the new Cotton Paper in Watermelon Wonder for the flower.  This is the first time I’ve used the Cotton Paper, and I LOVE IT!   I see many more flowers in my future!   The flower center is created from Delightful Dijon.  The leaves are cropped from Cucumber Crush cardstock using the Fun Flower punch.  Finally, the little flag featuring the sentiment is cropped from Mint Macaron cardstock.

cotton paper flowerSo, now that you’ve gotten to meet the new colors, and get to know them, which of the new In Colors color is your favorite?  Want to know which one is my favorite?  All of them!

Tomorrow I’ll have all the details on how to make this money holder, including measurements and step-by-step directions, so be sure to stop back. Sign up for my newsletter, and you’ll also get my blog posts delivered to your inbox so you won’t miss a thing.

The next stop is Kalyn Shubnell at The Stamping Chronicles, number 12 on the Pals Blog Hop!  Thanks for visiting; I hope to see you on next month’s Pals Hop!

Happy Birthday with Sprinkles on Top

Today’s Mojo Monday sketch was the perfect layout for me to ink up my new Sprinkles on Top stamp set and show off the coordinating Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper stack.

Here’s the sketch:

And here’s my card:  Sprinkles on TopI love that this sketch allows for a large piece of the pretty patterned paper to take center stage!  All of the layers allow for the many colors in here to play a part, without overwhelming the overall effect.

The Happy Birthday sentiment from Sprinkles on Top is designed on one line; but I easily inked up just one word at time to create a 2-line sentiment to fit into the circle shape.  Sweet!

My lighting situation is less than ideal so my apologies for the poor quality photo.  I hope to remedy that soon. In the meantime, trust me that color combination of Crushed Curry, Bermuda Bay, Cucumber Crush and Watermelon Wonder is a winner!  Bright, bold, and cheery.color combo jpeg-001

If you would like to have any of the products I used to create this card, then hop over to my online store and shop securely, or click on the item below.

Stop back on Wednesday where the Stampin’ Pretty Pals will show off the new 2015-17 In Colors with our  monthly blog hop.  Thanks for hanging out in My Stampin Space with me.  See you soon.

Rescued by the Paper Players!

So I had a vague idea of what I wanted to do for my class Monday night, but every time I sat down to put that idea to paper, I just was blank!  I  knew what stamp I wanted to use, and the colors, but nothing else.  My mojo was gone!  So Friday came and went, nothing.  Saturday came and went, nothing.  Sunday afternoon, nothing.  Now I was panicking; my class is right after work on Monday, need to get my act together, NOW!

Take a break, make dinner.  Casually check my email (a stall  tactic because I still didn’t know what to do!)  An email with the following sketch challenge from the Paper Players,  and it all came together!

Thank God for the Paper Players!  Right sketch, just in the nick of time.  I ran back downstairs to My Stampin’ Space, and pulled together not one, but two cards in no time!  Thank you Nance and the Paper Players.

Definitely Dahlia
For both cards I used Tip Top Taupe for the card base and a Mint Macaron layer.  In the top card, I stamped some ink spots from Gorgeous Grunge in Mint Macaron directly on the Mint Macaron layer.  I stamped the Definitely Dahlia flower onto Whisper White cardstock with Mint  Macaron ink and fussy-cut the flower out.  A few strands of Gold Metallic thread peek out from behind the flower.

PP251On the second card, I added a Whisper White layer and stamped both the ink spots and flower directly onto this layer.  The Mint Macaron strip and Tip Top Taupe banner are adorned with a metal rimmed pearl (my new fav embellishment from the new catalog!)  The Happy Birthday sentiment is from Sprinkles on Top stamp set stamped in Tip Top Taupe ink on the same color cardstock.

I quickly picked a favorite and that’s what we will be making in class tomorrow.  Which one is your favorite?   You’ll have to check my facebook page Monday night to see which card we make in class.  Until then, leave me a comment and tell me your choice.

Thanks for stopping by My Stampin Space.  If you want to order any of the products I used to make these cards, just click on the product below or click here to go directly to my store.

In With The New…Pals Blog Hop

june badge

Welcome to the Pals Blog Hop for June.  This month we are excited to show off new Stampin’ Up! products from the just released 2015 – 2016 annual catalog.  We hope you find great inspiration from the projects.  Get your wish list ready!

You may just be starting the blog hop or may have come from Beth McCullough at Stamping Mom number 29 on the Pals Hop.  If you get off track at any time, the full lineup below will help you move along from blog to blog so you see all the projects.

Well I have to say that I am in LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!  Yes, I LOVE my husband – he’s the best!  But some days he just has to step aside for my Stampin’ Obsession!  And right now, there are a few products that I just can’t get enough of.  And when you put them together, LOVE is in the air!  The Gift Bag Punch Board, the Triple Banner Punch and the Floral Wings stamp set.

IMG_5192-001

Don’t you just love it!  I’m making Gift Bags with the Gift Bag Punch Board left & right!  And thanks to you, I have over 750 views on the tutorial video I made showing how to use the Gift Bag Punch Board!

Of course, the Triple Banner Punch makes flagged end banners a cinch; especially if you want to layer different sizes like I did here.  (True Story:  I almost didn’t order the Triple Banner Punch because I thought it was a triangle punch!  Good think I read the fine print description and realized what it was!)

But my most fav is the Floral Wings stamp set!  And again, I didn’t realize the potential of this set until I got it and started using it.  The ‘blank spots’ in the butterfly are shaped for the roses & leaves just perfectly.  We were introduced to triple stamping with tab alignment back in the fall with the Wonderful Wreath, and this stamp set uses that tab alignment for the leaves and roses inside the butterfly wings.

IMG_5195-001See those leaves?  You don’t stamp them individually; it’s all one stamp!  And the roses?  The 5 roses are one stamp set so you get perfect placement in one impression.

Here’s another bag I made:  This one shows how cute the bag looks with the top open, (like a convertible!)IMG_5197

And another:  This uses the new 1″ Dotted Lace Trim in Cucumber Crush – another new product I am in love with!  I’m so glad I purchased every color 🙂IMG_5204[1]Each gift bag has a different closure: a clothespin, an open top (which has no closure) and a ribbon.  The Gift Bag Punch Board allows you to put holes for ribbons if you want, or not.  It’s so versatile.

WORD TO THE WISE:  When working with paper that has a definite direction to the paper (like the printed words), remember that the punch creates the bottom flaps of the gift bag.  So, you want to put your paper into the punch with with the top of the paper towards you and the bottom of the paper in the punch, like this:

IMG_5203[1]Before you get all mushy, saying how smart I am, and how much paper I will save you, and all of that, I have to confess that mistakes are the best teachers!  Another episode of the blooper reel – we were making these gift bags at a workshop this past weekend.  Well, all I can is that we learned the hard way!  But you can learn from my mistake….you’re welcome!  🙂

I hope you will get ‘punchy’ with the Gift Bag Punch Board, the triple banner punch, and spread your wings with the Floral Wings stamp set.  I have a product list at the end of this post so you can see exactly what I used if you want to recreate any of these projects.   Please contact your demonstrator to order products, or to get a new catalog.  If you don’t have a relationship with a demonstrator, feel free to email me.  Thanks for stopping by My Stampin’ Space today.

Please leave me a comment and tell me which gift bag is your favorite, and why.  I absolutely love hearing from you!

Gift Wrapping is in the Bag!

One of the new products being introduced by Stampin’ Up! when the new annual catalog comes out next week is another Punch Board!  Yep, that’s right!  A Gift Bag Punch Board.  I’m so excited; this item ZOOMED to the TOP of my MUST HAVE List and I’m grateful that it was one of the items that demos’ could pre-order.

gift bag punch board

I quickly made use of my new Gift Bag Punch Board to make some gift packaging.   Gift Bag

This punch board will allow you to make gift bags in a variety of sizes; and punch holes in the top to thread a ribbon thru (as I did here) for a closure.  I decorated this for a birthday, but think of all the possibilities!  Any holiday or occassion, any color, any pattern of paper.  Ribbon, clothespins, fold & staple….there are so many ways to close the bags too!

After reading the included directions, I decided some serious video making was in order!  I’m not adverse to reading directions, but I did find they were difficult in some areas, and I really learn better from hands-on experience, and/or visual instruction.  I thought you might learn better that way too, so I’ve filmed this video.  While it is somewhat lengthy, I tried to be very detailed and show exactly step-by-step how to make different sized gift bags.

While you’re watching the video, please subscribe to my YouTube channel so you won’t miss any future video tutorials from me.  I’d also appreciate if you could share the video with anyone whom you think might enjoy it!

Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think!  I have more videos planned, but I’d also like to hear what YOU would like to see in a future video!

20150601_AnnualCatalog_en-USThe new catalog goes LIVE on June 2nd – you can order this Gift Bag Punch  Board then! June 2nd is also the last day to order from the retiring catalog and from the Occasions catalog.  Check out the RETIRING LIST here; and make sure to order those items you’ve always had your eye before they are gone for good.

If you are a customer of mine and need a catalog, please email me to request a catalog.  If you are not my customer, and do not currently have a relationship with a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, and would like to order Stampin’ Up! products from me, you can request a catalog too!

If you have ever thought about joining Stampin’ Up! now is a great time!  Join under me from June 2-30 and choose $125 of products for only $99 in your starter kit (and it ships FREE!) AND choose 2 stamps sets from the new catalog! SWEET!

Build A Birthday with Sneak Peek Products

Well, my package arrived filled with all my new goodies from the soon-to-be released 2015 Stampin’ Up! catalog.  Here is what I got:  New catalog in my handsYes, I got my new catalog!    You know what I’ll be doing.  I’ve seen the entire catalog on line, but there’s nothing like having it in your hands!  I mark my catalog with everything I have, and form a wish list.  I’ll be busy this weekend!

IMG_5024[1]

This is what was in my box; come on, let’s take a closer look!  Let me introduce the new 2015-17 In Colors to you, if you haven’t met them already.  Mint Macaron, Tip Top Taupe, Watermelon Wonder, Cucumber Crush & Delightful Dijon.  I will be taking my time to get to know each one better in the coming days.

2015-17 InColorsNew stamp sets, new paper, new embellishments.  My husband’s birthday is this week, so the first stamp set I grabbed was a new set called “Build a Birthday” to make this card.Build A BirthdayThis set is so versatile; with the cake stand, and flag topper, you can ‘build’ your birthday cake with strips of Washi Tape, like I did with Cherry on Top Washi tape, or with stamps included in the set.

Are you loving the striped paper I used in the background?  Me too, it’s from a new Paper Stack called Cherry on Top (and it coordinates perfectly with the Washi Tape of the same name!).  The starburst circle layer is made with the new Watermelon Wonder cardstock; I’m really  diggin’ this color.  It’s helping me get over losing Strawberry Slush!

Because I made this card in a custom size (5-1/2″ x 5-1/2″)  I needed a custom envelope.  You know how great the Envelope Punch  Board is for this; but now, we have Envelope Weight Paper, printed on 2 sides, to make our envelopes!   Woot-Woot!  This will definately take your envelope making to new levels!IMG_5033[1]How Beautiful is this?  Solid color on one side, printed on the other.  Just perfect – lighter weight than cardstock, heavier than standard DSP.  What a nice presentation – a coordinated envelope & card.

This color is Delightful Dijon.  It might be my least favorite color of the new In-Colors but it has lots of promise & possibilities.  It is a color that I think will definitely grow on me.  I do like how it contrasts with Bermuda Bay.  Did you notice that little embellishment?  Here’s a close-up:

In Color Blossom Accents

Just perfect to wish my hubby a Happy Birthday!  This paper stack has such cute patterns, I can’t wait to share more with you in the coming days.
